Ride for Those Who Can't
Bike ride to raise funds for Faith In Action
HealthSouth Sewickley and the Leetsdale VFW recently hosted a motorcycle fundraiser for Faith in Action, a community program of the Sewickley YMCA that provides volunteer and good-neighborly assistance for senior adults in the area. Providing transportation for the elderly, running errands and home social visits are just some of the activities Faith in Action provides to the community.
Helmet and bike safety were also promoted by the staff at HealthSouth

ANNOUNCES NEW CLINIC FOR AMPUTEES
SEWICKLEY, Pa. –HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Sewickley recently announced a new clinic for patients who have undergone an amputation of an arm or leg.
The Amputee Clinic at HealthSouth Sewickley will focus on the unique needs of each individual by helping him or her achieve the highest possible level of independence. Pre-prosthetic instruction will include fitting, skin care, education and maintenance as well as incorporating physical and occupational therapies.
The clinic is sponsored by The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation.
